The owners of this 1980’s home desired to create a connected space throughout the main floor of the home and update the kitchen to a more modern design the suited their needs.

The original layout of the main floor had separate a separate kitchen, living room, and dining room which were dark, and cramped. By taking down the walls between the three spaces the overall functionality of the space drastically improved and light was able to flow throughout the space unimpeded.

The Kitchen was also completely redesigned so that the main functional spaces were aligned along the exterior wall with plenty of windows to allow the owners to look out over the wooded park just behind their house while in their kitchen.

The upstairs bathroom was also updated with the addition of a larger, more open shower, and additional sinks and counterspace to make better use of the existing room.
